Hot Rodder's

let's hear some more.

you have to look at them as learning experience's.:)

there are still deals out there and stuff to find!

hardly any money too!

Have A Nice Day!

I used to restore those old Fiat 2000's and spyders... I really miss it. After the first three of them I was a pro. I could do a tune-up, water-pump, timing belt and have it running right (for about 3-4 days, weather permiting, because the early Bosch fuel injection systems did not reference ambient temperature) in about 2 1/2 hours.

Auston Mini

About 1967 I had two Auston mini 750's. I parted one out to keep the other one on the road. They were a fun car to drive. I wished I still had one.

Miss 'Em Both

Silver one was my first Street Rod. It was #6 out of the molds at Gibbon Fibreglass and Paul Horton brought it home from Columbus, Ohio for me after the 1984 Street Rod Nationals. The next July we went to St. Paul, Minnesota to the Nationals in gray prime and an unfinished interior. It had a 2L Pinto engine and a C-4 automatic. A real fun car to drive but kids out grew it!
The Tahitian Green one was a 56,000 mile South Dakota car and was done in 9 months for our twin daughters Grade 8 graduation. It had a 1985 302 H.O. crate motor, C-4, 8” 3:55 rear, Mustang II front. Even MORE fun to drive. Fast for a small block fat fendered ride.37Y_RFUN1.jpg

tread heads

i have run in to a few people that take the 'other road.'

build or rent a building and hang on to cars.

the one guy has Eleanor Roosevelt's Pierce Arrow car.

i contacted Smithsonian and said you better contact him

and get it him to donate it.

i got sort of a so-so answer from them.

i don't think it would be a good thing to have that

car auctioned off and go overseas.

Have A Nice Day!

This is not a Hot Rod, But it was the best truck I ever had, I bought it in 1980 and sold it last April, In the 30 years I owned her it only had to be towed two times,
Not bad for a 1963 GMC old bread truck, I turned in in to what I called the ( First Class A Motor Home ) in 1980,
I was 32 when I bought it, and the young Man that bought it from me was 32, and he took it to Georgia and is restoring her, and said he would send me some pictures of her when it is done, it was in a movie called ( The White River Kid ) filmed in Arkansas, and it was a real Dumb Movie,
