Can you ID this part?

I bought a BP J head at an estate sale auction a couple of weeks ago.
The quill downfeed drive was mostly disassembled. Parts in a box.
Thinking I would need to dig into it further I did disassemble the step pully top half.
I watched several of the H&W videos on youtube and have it mostly figured out now. But can't seem to find a reference to this part. Any BP Gurus that can help ID it?

Dimensions taken with a cheap dial caliper so maybe off a hair.
OD = .939
Thickness = .305
The ID is stepped
.499 and
.605
Ìt is a spacer - no holes or set screws in it.
Can you help?
Thank

The graphic you posted is for an M head, not a J head.

As far as the part, I do not recognize it as being a part of the J head.

Oops, sorry about the M head diagram.
That part was in the box of stuff that came with the mill.
I believe I know what happened to the quill feed.
Somehow the feed engage handle got broken off. There was another complete engage handle and shaft in the box.
This is the old - broken casting

So he tried to replace it but could not get the casting off due to the ball on the shaft.

The hole the ball fits into was all boogered up. I took a dremel and ground the ball smaller and it came out then I reamed out the hole a wee bit and filed the shaft to clean up some burrs around the hole. I bought a new 3/16" ball at the hardware store.
It pops in easy now and pulls out with a magnet.
My first Bport and foray into the guts of one
If I can fix this feed the repair will have cost me 19 cents for the ball.
I don't know if the part I asked about is even for this mill.
