For a second large lathe, I would give it a consideration, but it would have to be cheap, moving it will not be easy. Top heavy as heck, and too tall for most engine hoists to use to disassemble the drive section. It looks to be an old line shaft lathe, converted by adding a motor and gear box. That puts it late 1800's to early 1900's. Likely will have wear on the ways, but if it is mainly for work on short items, or work on small sections of long items, it could be useful.
Looks familiar, but cannot put a name to it. Ask the seller whats written on the door. Would love to see more pics if you get some.
