I'm driving about 3 hours away to go take a look at this machine in a couple days. Seems to be a well built vintage lathe(given my limited knowledge anyway).
My issue is I can't translate or find any info anywhere on this thing. The owner inherited the think from a neighbor or something along those lines.
The current owner isn't very knowledgeable about lathes. All I've been told so far is it all works as it should and it's a 220v machine. All pictured tooling is included.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Looks like my kind of lathe, diamond in the rough maybe.
Looks like it was originally sold in Canada. Not sure about the Whitworth thread chart. Make sure it will do SAE threads. Check for broken gears, missing parts wear on the bed ways. If it's not under power, maybe take the covers off to inspect the headstock for broken teeth, water in the oil. Check for broken handles or brazed parts. This could mean it has been dropped.
Looks like it has a sight glass for oil Looks to have a 3 jaw, 4 jaw, Jacob's chuck.
For the right price I would be all over it. Looks like it could be a great lathe with some elbow grease, and elbow grease is cheap.

The plate over the gear box looks to be in TPI. Also, it has a threading dial, so more TPI evidence (possibly). The labels appear to be vendor labels and not manufacturer labels. I would think that the manufacturer's name would be on the gear box plate. The lathe was obviously made for the Spanish market.

Better pictures would help.

Good advice.
To add a bit to it, if you do take the cover off the headstock, bring a telescoping magnet and poke it down in the deep recesses of the oil. See if you can draw up any chips, shavings, powered metal, etc.

It's hard to make out the name cast into the door.
Is it NODA, NOOD, NOOR...?
Looks like it might be “Noor”, I could find anything on the other variations. If it is Noor that was/is a pretty big outfit in India so maybe made in India and sold through a dealer in Barcelona.IMG_3192.png

I appreciate all of the responses. It unfortunately is not under power currently, so it's going to take a little more investigation pre purchase. Between the machine and all the tooling I should be able to get all of it for $500 loaded on my trailer by the seller.
I'm going to do some research on the Noor brand and see if I can match it to one of their vintage machines. It would be nice to know if there are replacement parts available before buying it.
I originally thought it could be an old Torrent lathe, but I don't think they ever made that small of a lathe. Hard to find any info on the brand though.
