There are several of the same models currently listed on eBay. One is $39.99 plus $19.99 shipping. There's another with an asking price of $75.00. There are also a few Brown & Sharpe Vernier gauges listed for under $50.00.
I passed on a nearly new Cadillac a few years ago thinking the $100.00 price tag was too steep for the few times I'd use it. Instead I opted for a B&S 24" Vernier for $50.00. I like the B&S and use it far more often than I thought I ever would. Now that I have CSS (Can't See Sh*t) I'm thinking the price for the Cadillac wasn't all that bad.
