I've had a Grizzly G0516 lathe for a while -- originally it was a lathe and mini-mill joined at the hip, but I detached the mill which went to a new home. The lathe is basically a Sieg C6 equivalent, or so I'm told.

Recently I've been running across references to 9x20 lathes. These appear to be close in size to the C6, but not exactly so.

So I'm just curious, among those who are familiar with both of these, are there any key differences besides the slight size difference?

Its considered that the standard 9x20 asian lathe should really be considered a kit rather than a complete lathe.
I purchased mine with this in mind.
It does work as is but there are some essentials that must be done to get it working sweet.
There are heaps of posts on this site showing mods that have been done to this lathe.
heres one
I dont know about the C6 but I would expect it to be of better quality
