Well this article is 16 years old, so I can’t say this is need. But I’ve read many articles about US made machine tools, with Index being the only manufacturer named as still producing milling machines in the US. So I thought it might be worth posting.
I went to the Hardinge website and they’re still selling them. I don’t know if they’re still made in America though.
