I was wondering if anybody could help me ID this boring head?

I cannot find any makers mark.

The shank is straight 1/2"

From what little info I can gather on the net it looks like it could be an early Flynn, possibly something they made before the #35A; which would make sense as the machine it was with is a Linley Jig bore that came out of a shop in Flint, Michigan.

I have ruled out the possibility that it OEM to the Linley; as I have a late Mk. 1A and this boring head does not resemble those listed in their catalog of accessories.

Thanks,

I took a look at some of the catalogs I have on hand. Like you said the Flynn comes close to match but still different. I'm trying to figure out why the eccentric bushing is in the bore for the boring tools? Flynn's boring heads in the smaller sizes have a funny looking hole for the boring bars. Kind of looks like they bored out the funny looking hole, if it was in fact a Flynn boring head.
