Bench Grinder Conversion

I recently had an old Dayton 6" bench grinder given to me.
As I have several others I thought I would possibly turn it into a sort of tool grinder. One side a regular wheel or a cup wheel or sorts, the other a green wheel for carbides.
I was just wondering if others on here have done something like this and would be willing to share pictures and ideas on how to go about doing this.
It would mostly be used for lathe tooling.
I would like something where I would be able to use a guide at various angles and such.
Also, possibly a set up of sorts for drills or end mills.
I'm searching for ideas as I'm not really sure where to start.

I have a Darex drill sharpening set up on my Dayton . On the right wheel I have my own point splitting set up. It's not the best but it helps.

For tool grinding you really need to be able to access both sides of the wheel, with a wraparound tool rest, or one on each side, like this:

And that means being able to reverse the direction of the wheel as well. This is the most thorough explanation I've seen on the subject of reversing a grinding wheel:

i have a vintage 6" grinder that has a 6" aluminum oxide wheel on the left, and a 6" green wheel on the right
