This week, after digging out of our first snow dump, I traveled about 40 miles to buy a Heinrich vise. The machinery dealer handles primarily used CNC equipment. I bought the Heinrich 6-SV vise, a Jacobs 130 3/8 keyless chuck, a medium size tap wrench (Greenfield-looking) and a box of 12 1 1/2" and 16 1" high speed dies (some wrapped in original boxes). The total was $ 185. Basically, I bought the Jacobs chuck for list price & the rest came free ! Does anyone know what taper this chuck has ? The Jacobs website does not specify. Thanks.

The taper of the chuck should be stamped on the side. That chuck comes in 3 different tapers
