Ball mills

Hi all....My main hobby is metal casting but I use a rf30 dill mill for finishing on some jobs, I have a job coming up that will need finishing with a ball mill, can some one tell me how a ball mill is measured, is it the tip that is measured

A ball mill is measured by its diameter. For instance, a 1/4" ball mill would leave a 1/8" fillet radius in a corner.
