I have noticed when I am turning with back gear engaged (lever down) on my Clausing, the lever will slow raise up. It seems like it is not "locked in" and just backs out. I haven't had the lever totally back out where the gears don't engage, it just raises up and bugs me. Keeping hand on lever is sufficient. Any ideas what causes this? Is there an adjustment or is something wrong?

I have the same problem on my Clausing 100 standard. I have never taken it apart. It would be interesting to see a picture of your solution.
