I decided to hit auction in Memphis last week. Ended up with a few things. I have been trying to upgrade and improve things in shop. Just a few things I ended up with. I bought a roll around shop cabinet, and it was loaded down with hardinge collets, and other things.
A drawer full of reamers.
All of this is on top of the storage cabinet.
Ended up with a few original Bridgeport items for my mill
Ended up with another Lista Workbench and indicator lot.
Also ended up with 3 shim material packs. in with this lot.
The biggest score was an excello carbide grinder.
This thing is a monster. I was a little worried once I picked it up the wiring diagram they gave me with it had 440. I figured welp another tool I will end up selling . When I got home, and unloaded, I decided to tear into it and see if there was something I could do. Well after pulling top casing off I could not access the motor. I figured I am hosed,Then I notice the back panel on the base and pull it off. It is belt driven so I figure I will change the motor out. I cleaned the tags off and stuck camera up in base and started snapping pics, it is a dual voltage, can be wired 220 or 440. Solved that problem it will get a thorough refurbish and cleaning and become a permanent member in my shop.
Equipping the shop has become a serious obsession.
I have other stuff from a Florida trip I need to share. Ended up with some nice books, a Gherstner toolbox, and the Excursion loaded down for the trip back. I need to get better pics.
