$1800??? I don't think so! I have read this lathe is commonly sold for anywhere in between $450 and $600.

I think there is another very close to me for $1250. Yet another "bargain"...

The 12" cabinet model in my area would definitely be a better buy than the one you pointed out. I was at an auction a while back and a beat up older model like the one in Dallas sold for $350. It had no accessories and had at least 3 gears with missing teeth!
