Atlas Craftsman m12" Milling Attachment Jib

I have been looking to buy a milling attachment on ebay but there seems to be some differences on them in the jibs. Most that i see have a metal jib. recently i let a couple of really nice ones go because they had a plastic jib. Does anyone know if the plastic jib was OEM or was it added later to make the unit complete. Any help or input would be appreciated.

The factory switched over to plastic at some point- I wouldn't let the plastic gib deter you from buying, you can always find a metal one on Ebay or have one made. The plastic ones actually work pretty well for quite a while

I wish I had know that I let a brand new one go last week in the box because of the jib. it seems to me that when you go to tighten down the slide a metal jib would hold better than plastic
