So the gearbox on my atlas 12" lathe took a dump and stripped some teeth off one of the 40T low speed gears in the quick change box. It also stripped the key out of the small gear on the selector arm. Looks like close to $200 from sears. Anybody have a source for used Atlas parts they have had good success with? Cash is kind of tight right now and if I can find some good used parts and maybe save a few bucks that would be nice. I see one of the gears on the auction site but he wants darn near as much as a new one and who knows how warn the thing really is without seeing it in person.
