I thought I might post a couple of tool post designs I use on my Atlas 12" lathe that may be of interest to some one on Hobby Machinist Forum. Although I use a QC tool post, these tool holders are used more. #2 is a single tool bit holder on one side and a .500 dia. hole on the other side for holding carbide tipped boring bars. You might say it is a turret tool post. # 1 is a multi tool holder that comes in handy for machining short step cuts.
