I used little machine shops magnetic scales and touch dro, already had the set left over from a mini lathe that I gave away to a buddy.
Used a block of 1/2" x4" aluminum plate to build out the crossslide and mount the dro with the origional brackets from the kit.
This is the cleanest way I could figure out how to mount the crossslide dro to where it would function well. Ignor the center hole on the mount, that was mis-drilled
Sensor is mounted on two brass motherboard standoffs that are screwed into the carriage.
the z axis is a little rigged in but it functions perfectly . Didn't have much flat material around to make the mounting block for it.
