Atlas 10 change gear

Hey guys I am in need of a 20 tooth gear my lathe came with a box full of gears but to have a complete set I need 1 more 20 tooth gear. I believe I have both spindle gears but I need to double check. Seems on ebay the going rate is $25-30 any suggestions on where to get this. I've heard boston gear makes them but not sure. Or if anyone has an extra to sell/trade that would be great. Like I said I've got plenty of spares I'd like to keep one of each but just let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I have done both - EBay and Boston Gears. I needed some for replacement and others to do metric. I have posted a list of gears required in the files area. The list was based upon the manual that I had bought from Clausings. Hope it is still there!

What's the DP? 16? Bore? keyed? Certainly Boston Gear makes change gears, at full price, and 25-30 bucks sounds about right.

The list of Boston Gear part numbers for Atlas compatible gears is back in Files. Look under Atlas Lathe Maintenance. But I agree with GL that you are unlikely to get a new one any cheaper than the typical eBay asking prices. Cokes no longer cost a nickle and the 20T feed gear no longer costs thirty cents.
