I’ve been using my back gears a lot lately on my TH42.
It was working great until yesterday. The back gear lever has started climbing out if engagement.
Now, my “bull gear” stack came a little loose a few days ago. Grub screw worked itself loose. It might have been from when I went through the headstock a few weeks ago, cleaning and lubricating. I just pushed the bull gear back against the stack and retightened the grub screw.
Do I have an alignment issue now? Could that be why the back gears now climb off the bull gear under load?
I’m digging through the molo right now, but still haven’t found anything...
