Hello, All
Saw this forum, reminded of one of my first projects when I got my lathe, Ammonium Perchlorate Composite Propellant motor.
Autocad, Jet 1024, and guesswork, and of course the internet searches.
Thought you'll might like to see some pics.

Started with 3 grain configuration

After first test went to 5 grains

Used the Everclear composite formula, Ammonia Perchlorate (oxidizer) with about 5% fine aluminum (burn rate modifier, ignition aid, reducer) bound in to a rubber (reducer) like mess. Machinable, but want to clean up the shavings.
Good fire starter. . Cast in PVC and then drilled, cut and turned down to size.
Little guy is the delay grain.

32 lbs +/- thrust for over 2 seconds. Pretty cool looking "Mach Diamonds".

Nice job! Are you using set screws for retaining the nozzle?

I keep threatening to make a motor. I should sit down and do some CAD on it and order some tubing.
