Anybody Use Sendcutsend?

Reading a thread on another site, they do laser cutting and bending. I was astounded to find that they have a $30 minimum. Also good reports on quality and service. Anybody used 'em?

I have used them. The results were excellent, although mine was just laser cut parts, no bending.

A buddy of mine has had very good results from one of their competitors, oshcut - https://www.oshcut.com
He modeled a bunch of parts for an engine swap - motor & trans mounts, suspension attachment points, etc. Sent the files to oshcut, bent them in his shop and TIGd them together. The parts came as designed, with tight tolerance.

I’ve wanted to try them but until recently they didn’t send to Canada.

All I have done was acrylic laser cuts. They were accurate, and it was more effective than me with my puny laser cutter, though it does take more time.

I kept hosing my parts up on my cutter. To me, the cost of sendcutsend and doing it once out weighed the materials I screwed up.

Thanks. The flexure clamp was an experiment. I was considering it for press tooling. The cut pieces created the hole, so all I did was weld a little and touch up.
