Any Powermatic Lathe Owners Out There?

I have an 11" Powermatic lathe and really enjoy using it. Any others out there? I have a noise, a tink, tink, tink coming from the variable speed shaft area. Anyone else experience this?

Powermatic is a bit problematic since they bought both Logan (lathes) and Burke Millrite (mills) but also had their own machines (drillpress, bandsaw, sanders, woodworking tools)
