Purchased this cantelope of a drill chuck at an auction. Jaws open and close smooth but bearings are dry. I'm trying to figure out how to disassemble it. Its a 10B New Britain drill chuck. The arbor spins and opens the jaws. There doesn't appear to be a 'sleeve' body on this chuck where u would press something off as u would a jacobs chuck. All help is most appreciated.

Looks like 2 flats on the arbor and 2 spanner holes in the cap . Have you tried loosening them ? This is just a WAG , but if it went together it will come apart . :encourage:
