Hi gang- from a CNC setup we often read about Servo systems w/ positional encoders attached or Steppers with various accuracy firmware, software, hardware configurations. But since reading about Jim D's conversion to LM10's for positional accuracy, I've been hooked on doing this at some point.
I have been watching for LM10's for some time off and on. On ebay we see $100-115 price tags, used (but known good). I wondered if there are some alternate stock equiv's? I found these (links below).
