I'm having some challenges setting up my CNC plasma cutter electronics.
I can get the X-axis moving but the Y-axis is just laughing at me.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

I sorted it out by getting back to basics and wiring it according to spec and ignoring the diagram.

I am curious how you made that wiring diagram?

Have you tried swapping driver inputs? That will tell you both drivers are working and the problem is no Y signal from the Uno. Then you are looking at a code issue

ps do the ena+ and - need pullup resistors? Or pull downs?

I didn’t actually, it was part of the plans I bought. I know the rest of the drawings were done in QCAD so maybe it has that functionality?

Thanks Mark, I went back to basics and wired everything according to a diagram for Uno and 6600 drivers. Presto, problem solved.
I can’t say if the Ena +- need resistors as I have no idea what they do.
