Yes! Leave it alone. I agree with Husky. There are no shortage of HSM sites geared to the Tubal Cain, Rudy Kouhopt, types. There's a reason I no longer frequent those sites.

Hobby-Machinist is where it's at. Heck, it seems like I know many of you personally even though we've never met. There's never a flame, never childishness - just good old fashioned, fun, knowledge, respect and kinship.

Nelson, remember, you can't please everybody all the time. But, for your core membership, you've done well....

You Bet, Stay the course, it's moving in the right direction and that is what counts.
I don't have much experience in these forums but have noticed that many of the others are more interested in production and not really tuned in to making one off parts as we usually do in the true hobby shop.

As far as improvements go , about the only feature that I see needed here would be some sort of index so that a reader could search for posts by subject as they are sometimes quite scattered. If this is already there, I haven't found it yet, Sorry.

I like the course that we are on. I also see no harm in picking good parts from others and using them sometimes in a diffrent context.

Jerry, we try to organize by general subject, but sometimes that's not so simple. The search function does a pretty good job by searching by keyword, and I have had good success using it to find threads I cannot recall exactly where they are.

I think its a great site only one I still read and post to.
