I'm old 72 had cataract surgery in both eye.so I like large displays. Will a Panasonic tough tablet work? I just picked one up for under 100. If it won't work with DRO then I can return it. I picked it due to the fact that they are pretty hard to damage.

What DRO are you planning to use it with? If it is the TouchDRO, then @ycroosh is the person to answer your question.

I just sent him a message. I'm also looking at a Dell latitude 7212 tablet as better graphics bigger display.

Touchdro only runs on Android. I believe the two tablets you quoted run windows. so touchdro won't work.

Ok, android narrows the search. I found a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 in. 32GB for 139.00. That's the sale price at the exchange.

I would avoid Samsung for now. Latest OS version they shipped has a bug that causes random freezing of the position readout. Lenovo M10 is almost identical in all respects and works without any issues.

Yuriy, you're correct about Samsung. I thought the one I purchased was another model and would work. No way. So I guess I'll be getting the Lenovo m10. And ship Samsung back.

I just got my scale installed today on the X and the display doesn't freeze it jumps about .200. I have not done the calibration yet so I am going to do that Saturday morning.

I hope I am reading the info correctly? Does Android 12 only affect Samsung?

Unfortunately I bought a Galaxy Tab Lite A7 last May and it auto updated to 12 and I hadn't read any of this information yet, looks like I may have to sell it.

Thanks, Joe

Yuriy i sent you an email a couple days ago about removing wires I inserted into the DB9 and Molex connectors incorrectly. May have went into your junk?

Joe,
The .200 jumping is a fairly common problem with iGaging scales. It looks like you bought a glass/magnetic adapter. I can't think of a way a glass scale can jump by .200. To make sure we are talking about the same thing, can you post a photo of your scales and how you have them connected?

I didn't see an email about removing wires last week. I'll dig through the spam folder later today (I'm in the car waiting for my wife to come out of the grocery store...)

Regards
Yuriy

Thanks Yuriy,
Heading out to shop now, will get a picture posted when I clean up the mess of tools I have laying everywhere.

Yes they are glass scales. VEVOR brand.

Also I forwarded the email I sent to your GMAIL to the touchDRO.com

Going to have my wife pick up a ONN brand from Walmart, I will report back the results.

I'm guessing this is the Samsung bug, and I my misunderstand jumping VS freezing. I does actually continue displaying movement after the jump.

thanks, Joe
