All About Taper Attachments

Sorry - I needed to get people's attention about TA's because I just added one to my 10L, and need to know everything I can about them. First question is the longer CF screw - will it work without using the taper phase? Do I need to swap screws to use the normal cross feed/compound functions??

I'll be looking around for info on my own, but it's always nice to get advice from fellow lathe users who already have a wealth of knowledge to share (I hope!)

You can do all the things you did before you added the taper attachment. I use it to lock my cross slide when cutting.

Makes the cuts a lot better. The only thing I don't like about them is the limitations on the angles.
