ACRA power down feed

I started playing with the power down feed today, and the lever kicks out inconsistently before hitting the stop. Any ideas, I'm going out to study it some more to see if there is an adjustment.

I haven't had an issue but you mentioned you had increased resistance in the spindle feed that is probably causing the issue. They are made to release at a given tension.

ACRA will give me a call tomorrow morning, it seems to get better if I lower the table, and start with the quill farther down.

Boring in the mill with lots of chatter. Ideas?

What is this "auto down feed" thing you speak of? :p Quill feed on BP type mill.
