A tip for holding rounds while sawing.

Looks nice. Must be getting close if your working on the trim washers. Will it be on the road soon? Thanks for sharing.
 
Should be one heck of a car when done with all the custom work - better than new. :thumbzup:

If you don't mind I'd be interested to know how you hold those washers in the chuck to face the back side.

Jim,

Those look like the same stamped steel washers that were used on the floor boards of my MGA. It seems like they would be something readily available as NOS or repro part. Apparently not if you are going to the trouble of making them yourself. Maybe you should consider building a die and going into business. ;)

It's probably too late for this project, but I am currently working on a tailstock turret design. It'll have to be a labor of love to build though since you can buy them for under $100.
