I needed a hogging endmill for a current job, and posted on here some questions about what would be the best for my needs.
Not only did Tony Wells answer my questions, he gave me 7 used but very servicable roughing mills.
We spent a little time talking, and before I left he had tossed a cat 40 endmill holder, and a Jorgeson metals refrence in the cache!

On top of that before I left to head to his house my wife gave me the go ahead to get the 3ph wired into the shop!
You couldent slap the smile off my face with a 2x4!

One downside is, after reading several sources state the universal head on my K&T was a cat 40, I pulled the one E-M-H that came with the machine out and discovered its a cat 50.

No big deal though, I guess I will just have to buy a machine thats cat 40! Lol

THANK YOU Tony!!!!

CAT 50 is dang heavy duty. The good thing is there is less demand for CAT 50 so when big shops sell off tooling, fewer hobbyists are interested.

You're very welcome, Jake. Hope they work out for you. There is still a lot of life left in them. Try to remember which one(s) give you better service, the coated or uncoated, coarse or fine.

And Jake left me some bandsaw blades while he was over visiting. We were going to set up and run a few tests, but just as Jake drove down my road, a pine fell against the power line and took out a breaker so we lost juice.

Thanks for the blades, Jake!
