5C set-up

Has anyone tried using a 5C collet block in their 4 jaw ?
Just wondering if it is feasible ?
asking for those of us who only have 3C compliant spindles......

Yes, I made my own collet block(5c) and hollow draw bar.It is installed in my Springfield lathe. I have several lathes so the
collet holder has been mounted in the four jaw chuck for years. It works great!

I have done it with a 16c collet block while running parts that were to big for the 5c
