4140 steel bars

I have maybe 20 pieces of 4140 steel bar. They are 1" x 1 1/2" and twelve to sixteen inches long. Would trade for some brass, bronze, aluminum, or drill rod. Traded some to a knife maker last summer, but still have some left.

I also have some 2" diameter by 14" long pieces of 10xx steel.

Would have to pick up in person. I'm about 45 miles northwest of Chicago.

I was hoping not to ship them because I would have to saw them down to 8" pieces to get them in a flat rate box. If shorter pieces are ok with you, I could do that. I sold a bunch to a couple of knife makers in our local machinist club, so I'll have to check and see how many I have left.

I you still have some of that 4140, I have some brass.
1/2 and 3/8 rod in 6" lengths.
Some 3/4 and 1" rod
A couple pieces 1-1/4X 2" one 1.4" the other 2.1" long.
Some 1/8" plate.
some 1/4X1" flat bar
