I was looking for an .stl file to print some holders for my CXA setup and what I found online wasn't all that impressive. A buddy here at work is a pretty good with Fushion so we modeled up something and it came out pretty nice! If you'd like to print some for yourself send me a PM and I can send you the .stl file. Take a peek:

Now you need a holder , for the holder , for the holder ! Looks great though . Make a rack up that would hold 20 or so . :encourage:

Mine are set up vertically to pack more in. My holders slide on 80-20 with no additional hardware. However, my design is for AXA. Can't see a reason that the design wouldn't scale though. The 80-20 is tilted back by 10 degrees so the tooling stays on the rack. This is based on @vtcnc 's design. Just need to scale the wedge section. The bumps engage in the 80-20 slots.

Yep, that's the plan! My Victor doesn't have a backsplash so I'm going to fabricate a rack of sorts that these will mount to. I've got 25+ CXA holders but I only use maybe 6-8 of them regularly so I'm thinking a rack of ten or so.

Nothing beats a large " rack " you know ! :encourage: 80/20 is nice for stuff like this as it's light and easy to work with .

Oh yeah , I missed the Victor lathe some years back . They gave it away to one of my ex-coworkers . I got 3 other lathes and 3 BPs in that deal . The Victor was a maintenance lathe and never got touched .

If you are interested, here's a version for CXA holders on 38mm (1.5") 80/20. All I had to do is scale up the dovetail stuff.
I used the following dimensions: H: 0.555", L1: 2.202", and L2: 1.681"

I haven't tested if it truly fits, but it will be very close. If you want, I can generate an stl file. The pocket in the center of the dovetail is to save print time.
