I would think the platinum would be too soft for a gib screw. What is it about this screw that makes it so expensive? What machine is it from?

I googled that part number and came up that it is either for a Hardinge HLV, or part of a cowl flap for a Piper Aztec (airplane).

A couple of years ago the navy figured that it cost $400,000 to unclog the toilets on their two newest aircraft carriers. This must be one of the toilet bolts. Sounds like a bargain.
