$3200 aluminum piece !

Found it in the garage while cleaning up . I know I had 100 hrs into this part before I got it to work correctly . This was the roof hinge for the 12' x 12' canopy I built up in NY . It could only be put together one way with shoulder bolts and after a few Saranacs it always gave me trouble . The canopy did last for 5 years before the snow destroyed it . I most likely could have purchased something like this for $10 or so , but what fun would that have been ? I don't have the heart to scrap it .
