3" Union Horizontal Boring Mill $1500

Saw this on Toronto Kijiji. Pretty sure its a misprint on the price. I am going to call first thing Monday to find out. I figure about $2500-$3000 to move it with a rigger.

Sometimes with obsolete equipment the owner's just want it gone. Good luck. Hope you can save it from the scrapers.

That was a nice looking machine! I had a small horizontal boring mill in my shop, a Universal 3” bar, did mostly repair/rebuild work on it. Now that the business has moved, it will be going away, along with my Thompson surface grinder, Norton cylindrical grinder and the Mitts & Merrill keyseater and the 30” American lathe, and other old friends of mine, makes me a bit sad ---
