Yup, especially in a small shop where horizontal surfaces are at a premium. I try to limit it to the surface gage and height gage, but it's a losing battle.
 
I promise that I have never put anything > 10 lbs on it! Also, it always has a cover on it. I am making way for a Tormach. My only other option is to make a stand that will roll underneath another stand, but it seems like the only thing I do in the shop is make stands for stuff in the shop.
