My wife is a retired teacher. She co-taught with Laura.
Laura and her husband are filthy rich. Their background is multi generation farming and bee keeping. Lots and lots of hives here in Northern California. This is farming country.
Laura asked my wife if I would be interested in acquiring any if their shop equipment. I said, like what?
A 1917 lathe, drill presses, band saws, milling machines. All for free!!!
Ah, sure, I’ll take a look :)

I’ll take pics.

Wow, what an opportunity!!!

I won't be able to drive over for a look, so yes, pictures please.

Maybe you can help re-home some machines before they go to a scrapper.

Used on a farm?

Well, you know what they say, condition is everything. I only have a few years working on stuff for the local farmers in Northern Michigan but I’ve never met a farmer who didn’t use everything all the way up.

Pics please.

damn, did you step in it.
Good luck , take it all, and sell what you don't want. Or give it to a nice home to someone on here that's local to you.

yea, probably because they are just too busy to take care of the equip. Even their farm equip gets the cold shoulder on preventive maint.. it's always maint after it breaks.
