12 CK Follower Rest

I need to use a follower rest for a project on my lathe. Looking around on the carriage I don't see anywhere to attach one.
Where did they attach?
I doubt I would ever find an original one but am sure I can contrive something that will work.
Does anyone here have a photo or diagram of one?

Not sure if this will help. Snagged these from another Forum. These are for a 10ee. So I don’t know if the basics translate to your larger lathe.

Doing a cursory search. It appears that follow rests for your model are practically non existent. You will best served making one.

I had one on a 12"CK, it mounted the same way as the 10 EE pictures show.

Typical of Monarch, that's a nicely done piece of equipment!
I had seen the hole on the back of the carriage but didn't realize the hole on the inside was even there. 82 years of crud had it pretty well disguised.
That will do it. I got these 3 rollers in some junk at an auction and will jerry rig a temporary follow rest with them

So I saw this on EBay not sure if it would fit the older models like a CY but here’s some pics . I have also seen Brian Bloc on his YouTube channel has one that he purchased and it is for his old Monarch . I know I always keep an eye out but they’re always the wrong side or people want way to much Money for them . I am still looking for a proper steady rest for my 20” monarch series 60-61 I have several steadies but I’ve had to make adapter plates and such to make them fit my bed . Either way I hope this might help
