10EE Headstock drain plug.

Can anyone confirm the drain (cap) plug size? I have a slow leak and before I wrench it too tight I need to ensure the PO didn't put a wrong coupler and plug on it.

My pipe measures .543 or 1/4" pipe. Its got to be a 1/4 NPT pipe cap. Sorry, i am not pulling it - all the oil will drain out. i find the teflon pipe tape to work about the best for sealing oil leaks. i use it on hydraulic lines under pressure - no pressure here.

PS, mine has a cap, not a coupler and plug.

Thanks, I was thinking 1/4 NPT, but I wanted to get a second opinion
