10" three jaw chuck for my Monarch 12 CK

The 8" skinner that came with my Monarch has seen better days. After months of searching for an affordable D1-6 chuck, I stumbled upon a brand new 10" three jaw with bolt on jaws.



Chuck face is flat within .001 and radial runout on a 6" long .750 dowel was under .002 I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice looking chuck Jeff. You should be happy with the runout numbers too. The two piece jaws are the type I like best too.

The two piece jaws are a great advanatge. Soft jaws can be next to zero runout. Makes life much easier

Ditto on the soft jaws. I'm making a couple sets right now.
