Now that you have posted your first message on the forum boards, it's time to personalize your online H-M profile. Below you can click on your profile name (see "vtcnc" on the menu bar tab).
A popup menu will appear with options and preferences related to your profile. When you hover your mouse over the image circle next to your name, you will see how the word "Edit" appears. Click this and a dialogue box will appear.
Notice that you have two options: 1) use your own custom image for your avatar. This is what I have done in my profile as an example below. 2) You can use the Gravatar service if you wish. There is a link that will take you to the Gravatar website if you want to learn more.
One thing you should be aware of, the recommended size of the image you use for a customer avatar is 400x400 pixels. Browse your computer for the image you want and upload it using this dialogue box. Once you hit "okay", your profile is updated and other members will see you for who you really are!
Finally, please ensure that your avatar is family friendly!
