Logan Taper Attachment Instructions 9-10-11 Lathes 2020/03/19

Written installation and operating instructions for the taper attachment installed on the Logan and Wards 9", 10" and 11" lathes. There are no drawings, only text. Note that on the Logan lathes, the entire Cross Slide is replaced with a longer one that then remains permanently on the lathe. Switching between standard (straight) and taper operation involves removing or installing in the longer cross slide.the screw attaching the cross-feed nut to the cross slide. and installing or removing the attachment between the cross slide and sliding block.
