When is the last time you saw one of these Man Killers

I just bought two of these:

I need to lift a deck! Probably sturdier than that man killer.
Be safe.
For sure. My dad had one of those and every time I would jack his tractor up it would fall. LOL But my neighbor kept one in his pickup so he could wench himself out of the mud if he got stuck. When I moved here someone else had left one of those here. I hauled if to the scrap metal buyers years ago. Today I wish I had of kept it. They also make great fence wire stretchers.

I wish I still had mine. High lift capability. I had the type like lvt, but I also had the one with the articulating strap that to lift the bumper. I think three segments.
I do have the base for 2 , I use them for wheel chocks.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that takes a piece of square tube! I like the other style, and ours saw a lot of use on the farm. But I’ve grown up, and made my way to the big city and factory life of adulthood. The only time I see one is as a prop on a Jeep that never goes off road.

I’m only joking. There’s like 9000 people here. Everybody has a cousin with a forklift or backhoe, or tractor.

I still keep one around for pulling t-posts and the like. Wouldn't even contemplate using them on a car, though I have in the past. Of course you'd need a pretty old car just to be able to situate it.

That jack in the first post is the first one I was taught to use by my Dad.
It went into a slot on the bumper of the 1976 Plymouth Gran Fury.
It locked in great and I never saw it drop.

Remember when you could lift a vehicle by the bumper?

That car had the fuel tank fill hidden in the middle back, just under the trunk in a little hinged panel.
It was great for confusing the folks at the filling station.
