When my Craftsman 618 lathe was new - c.1954

This is the shop I grew up in, added onto the side of a one car garage by my dad around the time I was born. The brand new Craftsman lathe is on the bench at the window, with a neat shelf above it holding threading gears and accessories. I've had the lathe in my own shop since 1987.
