My table was tilted and the ram was adjusted to match the tilt. So have a 3/4" wrench ready to make adjustments.
The large nuts go on the Left side of the unit as you face it.
Once you have the head in place the bolts should stick out about this much.
The head is in place! Time to put the washers and nuts on the bolts.

All 4 bolts in roughly lined up position.
This is how the bolts slide around the slot....basic but how they go.
There is a notch in the ram as shown. The bolts go in this way and are tilted up into position. Then slide them around to approximate location..

Use the crossfeed to move the table towards the ram as you adjust position of the bolts to where they slide in easy. If you are forcing it. Back it out and try again. No reason to mess it up at this point.
