X special serial number on new acquisition

The 2 new lathes have a X special serial number. 11466kax2 and 11465kax2. Any way to figure out what that special code means. does the 2 mean that there are two special features??

Since they are gap beds I would think that it was related to that but what does the number two mean?

So these are 10K's with a gap bed? That alone seems to qualify as a "special".

Yes that was definitely a special order feature. I have seen the 10K gap bed before, but it was not a standard catalog option.
