I'm looking for a power feed for my Millrite mill. The feeds I've found are either 135 or 150 ft. pound torque. I'm thinking the 135 will work with my mill. The mill table is 7x27. I'm a hobbiest so I generally take light cuts mostly in brass, aluminium, and 12L14. Would there be an advantage to the 150 or is it money wasted. Thanks for your help. Roger

I think it would be fine on that smaller machine .. I have seen them on Bridgeport sized tables. On a smaller machine, your not likely to be using a 1" end mil or a 2" face mill gouging .100-.150-.200 out on a pass and this is what put the test to the PF's.

Couple years ago on my full size Bridgeport clone, the 150lb Knee PF blew, I had a spare 135 unit and stuck it on til I could replace the 150 -- which ended up being some 2-3 months, and the little (Chinese model) 135 chugged right along. Lifting the knee and a vise and the work piece....
